Barrier Free Access and Piers---South Branch of the Oconto River

Assist the DNR in the collection of wild trout broodstock.---For the Oconto River T.U. Chapter hatchery,which serves the DNR wild trout stocking program in the Oconto River system.

$9,000 for habitat improvement on the Oconto River Tailwaters

$2,180 for stocking Brown Trout, on the lower Oconto River @ Stiles. Which included the planning and carrying out of the stocking.

$7,000  provide scholarships to area high school students enabling them to attend various Conservation and Environmental Camps

$20,000 Educational Walk-through Trail and Rustic Covered Bridge at the NEW Zoo

$2,000 helped DNR. study the effect that sustained beaver removal has on a trout stream

$3,000 in national trout research to lessen the effects of whirling disease,acid rain, hydroelectric projects

$5,000 in 05' In collaboration with local TU chapters with the effort to raise the funds for the stocking of trout, (brown & rainbows) in the Lower Oconto River at Stiles.

On May 12, 2007 the Green Bay Chapter, Oconto River Chapter, and DNR installed the weir on a branch of the Oconto River, all 1600 steel rods span the river. Fish trap is visible in center.

To protect ,enhance, and restore Wisconsin's coldwater resources.
